HUMBLE BEGINNINGS


Two brothers moved to Manhattan with nothing but determination. From washing dishes and bussing tables to management, they poured themselves into every corner of the restaurant world. The rhythm of

fine dining and the language of hospitality was learned only by living & breathing it.

MARIOS CAME FIRST...


Most people think of Italy, they think of pizza —

so they mastered that first. They opened a pizzeria named Mario’s, then two more. The Mario's brand 

was built on crust, fire and flavor.

A DESIRE TO GO BEYOND THE CRUST...


The perfect slice wasn’t enough. Their culinary ambition craved the full expression of the Italian cuisine. To master art of its heritage; slow-simmered sauces, delicate seafood, robust wines; the balance of elegance and comfort that defines Italy at its best.

roots of Mario’s came the refinement of RIOS

Modern Italian in Thornwood, New York.

Still family, still fire; but the next generation.
